Exalt

Waiting for Memory (Funerary Architecture) What if a building compels you to look up? Funerary architecture has always been about grieving for the departed. Our gesture is often to imagine their earthly body six feet beneath the ground. But when the studio was commissioned while the future occupant is still alive, we began to see death differently—not as an ending, but as an anticipation of spiritual transcendence. This attitude inspired us to make the building an act, ritual and experience of exaltation: an architecture that turns the gaze upward. The Thread Hub

The Thread Hub is a mixed-use office and commercial building designed as an integrated environment where education, creativity, production, and retail are seamlessly connected. Rather than functioning solely as a workplace or a shopping destination, the project creates a complete ecosystem for the growth of a fashion brand and its future professionals. Reframed Horizon Villa

Rather than starting from a blank site, this project began with a partially constructed reinforced-concrete frame that had been abandoned during construction. The existing structural system, together with an already-built swimming pool, established fixed conditions that could not be altered, transforming the project into an architectural exercise in adaptation rather than replacement. The greatest challenge was working within the limitations of a narrow structural footprint while fulfilling the client's request for a spacious contemporary family villa. The upper floor was required to accommodate three bedrooms despite the restricted width of the existing frame. Instead of modifying the primary structure, a carefully integrated one-meter ca... More

Dynamic House

The project “Dynamic House,” curated by Arch. Ada Garaffa in Via G. A. Cartia in Ragusa, redefines a private terraced house through a progressive interior transformation that treats space, light, and material as components of a single continuous architectural system. Ph Enrico Cascone Ph Enrico Cascone Ph Enrico Cascone Ph Enrico Cascone Ph Enrico Cascone The intervention focuses exclusively on the interior of the existing building, leaving the external envelope unchanged. Within this constraint, the project addresses the challenge of reinterpreting a conventional residential layout into a more fluid and perceptually rich domestic environment. Rather than reorganizing spaces in a purely functional way,... More

MANDALA RESIDENCES

Design Concept: Mandala Residences Mandala Residences is inspired by the timeless geometry of the Mandala, representing unity, balance, harmony, and interconnectedness. The project transforms these symbolic values into a contemporary residential environment where architecture, landscape, and community are organized around a common center. Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi At the master plan level, four identical residential blocks are symmetrically positioned around a shared central courtyard, creating a balanced composition that establishes the courtyard as the social and visual heart of the development. Rather than functioning as an empty open space, this central plaza bec... More

A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE

This project operates on the interplay between matter and perspective. When is something a space between rooms and when is it a room. Is something a floor or a kitchen. Is it inside or outside. A Matter of Perspective transforms a two-level apartment into a narrative about perception of space. Matte glass panels diffusing light and shadows, referencing the steam state of matter, and sliding partitions shifting the occupant’s perspective. Through sightlines and openings in walls the ordinary becomes extraordinary.  Giovanni Nardi The design unfolds as a sequence of shifting perspectives. Matte glass panels diffuse light and shadow throughout the apartment, while carefully positioned openings and sliding partitions continuous... More

A Monolithic Coastal Boutique Hotel

The project is conceived as a monolithic coastal retreat where architecture is defined through continuity, simplicity, and material honesty. Rather than relying on rigid orthogonal geometry, the design is shaped by a sequence of soft, flowing curves that create a calm spatial experience while echoing the gradual erosion of coastal landscapes by wind and water. Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi Mehdi Nasiri , Pariya Hendi The continuous geometry blurs the boundaries between walls, roofs, and outdoor spaces, allowing the building to read as a single sculpted form emerging naturally from its surroundings. Curved surfaces guide movement, frame views toward the sea, and generate shaded transitional spaces th... More
