Architecture for education

A multi-generational educational center featuring a kindergarten, music school, and adult education center was to be designed directly on the city moat of Rottenburg’s medieval historic center. The adjacent, historically protected school building from 1887 was to be integrated into the project. To carry on the history of this place and honor the quality of the historic school building, a contemporary twin building was constructed next to it. The concept for the Med Uni Campus Graz is based on the integration of work, teaching, and leisure spaces on a shared inner-city site. The project implements a clearly structured ensemble of coherent yet differentiated buildings, taking various requirements into account as far as possible. Lecture Hall Building and Logistics LaboratoryThe two neighboring buildings complete the historic nucleus of the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences, which emerged from the former Royal Prussian Institute for Fruit and Wine Growing, founded in 1872. Today, the next generation of winemakers is trained here in theory and practice. The project involves the renovation of non-residential premises in the center of Lviv, located in a building dating back to 1895. The space will become a new educational hub for the Ukrainian Leadership Academy — a program that prepares motivated teenagers for university studies and active civic life.
