Set on a large plot in Talatona, Luanda, the school covers a gross floor area of 14,226 m², spread over three distinct volumes: the school and administrative building, the auditorium and sports hall, and staff accommodation.
The layout respects the natural topography and green surroundings, resulting in a design of solids and voids that organizes the outdoor spaces, playground, and accesses. The main building, dedicated to teaching, is structured around a central atrium and interior courtyards, connecting classrooms, administrative areas, library, and support spaces. Circulation takes place in galleries, ensuring transparency and integration with the exterior.
The auditorium, with a capacity for 212 seats, and the sports pavilion, equipped with a multipurpose field, changing rooms, and direct connection to the outdoor spaces, function autonomously, also allowing for uses complementary to school activities. The complex also includes outdoor sports areas and a swimming pool.
The teachers' residences, organized on three floors, comprise a total of 24 housing units around a common landscaped courtyard, ensuring functional proximity without compromising privacy.
