CASA DR

The project is developed on a 600 m² urban plot located in Meia-Via, Torres Novas. Situated in an expanding residential area, the site is defined by surrounding streets and undeveloped lots, yet framed by single-family houses of diverse architectural styles. This heterogeneity and lack of strong references became the starting point for a proposal that distinguishes itself through a contemporary design language, based on simple and sober volumetrics with clear geometric definition. Tavaros at Little Forest

Located on a corner lot in the Little Forest Hills neighborhood, this residence is shaped as much by its constraints as by its opportunities. The dual frontage introduced a series of restrictions—setbacks, visibility, and exposure—but also opened up a unique condition: the ability to redefine how the house meets the street. Rather than centering the entry on a singular front façade, the design shifts the focus to the side yard, transforming it into the primary threshold of the home. Robert Tsai Robert Tsai Becca Lee Becca Lee Becca Lee The front door is integrated within this side yard, creating an arrival sequence that is intentional and gradual. Instead of moving directly from street to interio... More

Casa em Calvos, Guimarães, Portugal

The house is situated on the outskirts of Guimarães, within a planned housing development. The principles of this plan were respected to keep continuity in its design approach. Its corner position and the slope from northwest to south dictated the layout: a concrete basement, housing the garage and technical areas, defines a platform for a regular white volume above. Rach Gia House

Located in a coastal urban area in Kiên Giang, western Vietnam, where the tropical climate and cool breezes from the East Sea prevail, Rạch Giá House leaves a distinct impression both in its architectural context and in the personality of its owner. Nestled within a row of densely packed terrace houses, it seems to be enveloped by the refreshing nature of the park right in front. The homeowner, outwardly modest, harbors a deep love for both nature and family. Km Architecture Office Km Architecture Office Km Architecture Office Harmonizing three fundamental elements: nature, space, and humanity, the design takes shape with an enclosed concrete block externally and an open, light-filled space internally, adorned w... SLIM HOUSE

This house, which fits its shape to a long and very narrow plot, stands on Kraszewskiego Street in Warsaw. Among other houses standing on the street frontage, SLIM HOUSE K20A is distinguished by the characteristic form of its front elevation, which resembles the shape of an inverted P letter. Radosław Gałczyński Radosław Gałczyński Radosław Gałczyński Its body and function have been adapted to the unusual plot. In order to obtain optimal building conditions on a plot 10m wide and 50m long, it was decided to base the building on the border. This allowed for additional windows on the longer elevation of the house and allowed for proper lighting in the living room and kitchen on the first floor of the building. The house gained... More

BLACK BOX HOUSE

Black Box House is a building adjacent to an existing building in the Warsaw district of Wola - Garden District, standing in one line with a joyful building, with colorful facades and various roofs. This building stands out because it is the only one at this colorful festival in a black clinker façade.  Radosław Gałczyński Radosław Gałczyński This is an uncompromising project. The house does not want to fit the neighboring colorful mess of neighboring buildings. He consciously does not attempt to resemble them and consistently manifests his uniqueness. It's a black monument that stands in the middle of chaotic buildings of past years, as a new architectural standard. Radosław Gałczyński Radosław Gałczyński... More

Teiá model in Barcelona

A modular house with 230 m² with a modular pitched roof. “The exterior finishes of the house are presented as a contemporary reinterpretation of the materials commonly used in this type of construction in alpine environments. Thus, the ceramic walls with a slate or wood finish, together with the white monolayer and the metal carpentry in a dark tone, give the house a set of volumes with an attractive contemporary character and facilitate its maintenance in the face of characteristic climatic attacks. of the area in which it is located." SEPIZ

SEPIZ is a typical infill apartment building in Tehran, with access from both the north and south sides of the property, offering stunning views of the mountains and the city. The building features five 4-bedroom units, each benefiting from dual-sided views. Two basement floors are dedicated to parking, a gym, a pool, service areas, and a mechanical room. The main design approach was to explore and develop the concept of transitional space between the interior and exterior—what we refer to as the "in-between space." This space aims to enhance the living experience within the common infill typology seen in large cities like Tehran, where designs often result in rigid, clearly defined, two-dimensional boundaries between private... Caxambu House

Enhancing the House Facade The Casa Caxambu property boasts a 20-meter-wide frontage, which is highly advantageous for creating an elongated facade that enhances the residence's visual appeal. The street where it is located has a gentle slope, allowing us to design the garage at a lower level without significantly raising the ground floor's elevation. Consequently, the house appears single-story from the outside, but in reality, we made the most of the terrain's substantial slope to accommodate bedrooms and recreational spaces on the lower floor.
