Villa Santpoort

Villa Santpoort is a detached residence located in the dunes of Santpoort-Zuid, designed to form a connection with its surrounding landscape. The design responds to the natural level differences of the site, resulting in a playful split-level layout where spaces are interconnected yet retain their own identity. The villa consists of a wooden volume placed on a concrete plinth, intersected by glass elements that create transparency and unique light conditions. The integrated approach to both exterior and interior results in a cohesive design that strengthens the relationship between the home and nature. The project covers the full process from design to realization and is currently under construction. Lucas van der Wee Lucas van de... More

Loop Homes Burjassot

Located in Burjassot, Valencia, the new student residence rises over a preexisting structure, transforming an unfinished office building into a vibrant space for living and learning. Caption David Frutos On the ground floor, next to the main entrance, a double-height space forms the social heart of the residence. Modern 153 m² family apartment in the capital

The Design Manifesto of Aziza Aliyar This project holds a unique place in my portfolio. After six years with Arte di Casa, where I curated luxury-segment projects and specialized in Italian heritage brands, I transitioned into independent practice. This residence in Kings Land Residence marks my first fully solo venture. My mission was to translate my extensive experience working in Dubai and Europe into a private home preserving that signature Italian aesthetic while adapting it to a strategic budget. “This project is a true reflection of my identity it distills my vision, my history with Italian manufacturers, and my personal philosophy of ‘quiet luxury,’” says Aziza Aliyar. PARK RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

Whenever I look at the plan of an old building, it feels indescribable to me. The creation of space in the mass, the term of pure geometry inside, the forms of geometry enclosed in a circle are all like the moment that feels as if I have seen it before and is being repeated. Hossein Farahani, Mehrdad Emrani - The land of this house has 4 facades and is located like an island alongside a local park. |Similar to a mansion| - In spite of four facades, the design of the spaces began with the core of the plan and spread around. |Similar to an old plan| - Orderly geometric, white right-angled shapes were created from the black mass. |Similar to an old plan| Hossein Farahani, Mehrdad Emrani - The boundary between the pure geometry of... 33 Franklin

33 Franklin Street is a mixed-use residential and commercial development located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn our studio’s home neighborhood. Situated on a 21,000-square-foot lot with three street frontages, the project is both an architectural response to its context and a forward-looking addition to the neighborhood fabric. From the earliest stages, our guiding concept was to activate Franklin Street with a generous, two-story opening leading to a landscaped courtyard. This space not only serves as the main entry for the commercial tenant and residential lobby but also creates a moment of pause and greenery within the dense urban streetscape. Heidi Solander Designing for three distinct street frontages meant each fa&cc... More
