Firenze Gelateria

The project Firenze Gelataria and caffe, began with a direct and focused brief from the client: to create a gelato space that reflects how gelato is sold in Italy. There was no request for reinterpretation or stylisation. The intent was to follow the source as closely as possible. Having worked together on earlier projects, the client approached the process with trust, allowing the design direction to evolve without restrictions. This made it possible to develop a space rooted in observation rather than assumption. Avesh Gaur Avesh Gaur Avesh Gaur The design approach was guided by references from gelaterias in Florence. At the end of a well-shaded road, articulated with captivating arches, sits a 2440 sq. ft. restaurant in Hadapsar, Pune, welcoming patrons for a coffee or a meal alike. Pranaam, as its name suggests, is a humble restaurant located in the vicinity of major hospitals. Therefore, the brief set by seasoned restaurateurs, centred on creating a space that isn’t overwhelming as an experience but has the ability to stand out. Responding to this, the founders of Pune-based Intraa Design Studio, Ar. Chinmay Huddar and Id. Vrunda Satarkar, crafted a drawing from traditional spatial memories and a wise use of material and colours, enabling familiarity and uniqueness at the same time.  Architectural Captures by Abhishek Chavhan In the w... Cafe Meraki

Inside the 1,600 sq ft cafe design that feels like a pause above the city To design a cafe in the dense, kinetic heart of a city is to negotiate between pause and bustle, and this cafe design embraces that balance. The existing concrete floors were ground, polished and made anew. They are durable and reflect daylight, while white herringbone tile introduces texture along the product wall.
