Marks Coffee Roasters Cafe is a café and working coffee roastery in Minsk, Belarus, designed by Anna Lazar Studio. The interior brings coffee production, shared rituals and art into a welcoming setting where guests can meet, read and discover the process behind their coffee.

A large communal table forms the social centre of the café, inspired by the warmth of gathering around a table at home. Smaller tables and window seating provide more intimate places for a quiet coffee or conversation.

Colourful ceramic tiles by 41zero42 establish the project’s distinctive rhythm. Their narrow modules recall book spines, translating the Marks association with coffee and books into the architecture. The tiled counter, communal tabletop and shelving create connected accents throughout the room, balanced by light walls, pale joinery and a patterned floor. The Kappa and Superclassica SCG collections bring together different scales and textures, while large windows fill the café with daylight.

Chairs by Delo Design introduce curved profiles and upholstered surfaces, with colours that complement the ceramics. Bespoke furniture gives the interior a clear structure, while books and carefully placed objects make the shelving part of everyday café life.

The roasting room is visible through glazing, allowing guests to observe the equipment while maintaining a separate production space. Coffee roasting becomes an integral part of the café’s identity and the visitor experience.

Photographic artworks by Elena Korshak provide darker focal points against the light architectural background. Together with the books, colourful ceramics and visible roasting process, they create an interior that connects the craft of coffee with art and everyday conversation.
