Located within an olive grove in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico, Serentha Cabin is a 109 m² residence that explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and material simplicity. The project is organized into two parallel volumes connected by a central courtyard, creating a clear spatial arrangement that balances privacy with openness. Three stacked boxes rest on a floating platform above Bangkok's narrow street, lifted to create a quieter working environment away from the bustle below, while opening up views and allowing for nine parking spaces underneath. The decision to divide the building into three separate boxes responds to the tight urban condition of the site. Rather than creating one large, monolithic mass along the narrow and busy street, the smaller volumes break down the scale of the building and allow more light to reach the surrounding neighborhood. On the outskirts of Coimbra, this contemporary villa is organized around two clear volumes: an upper mass in light-coloured render, cantilevered over the entrance, and a base in anthracite grey shielded by a timber slat screen that filters the view from the street. Inside, a central courtyard with an olive tree and a suspended staircase in steel and oak link the spaces with a light touch, letting natural light travel through the house from façade to façade. Shanghai is a fast-paced city. Yet, the faster the tempo of such a metropolis, the simpler people's expectations for their homes become.  Rather than originating from a predefined aesthetic style, the design seeks to re-establish a delicate balance between the trivialities of daily life and inner tranquility. Selva houses explore the possibility of reconciling everyday urban life with a more immediate experience of nature. Located in Alto de Pinheiros, one of São Paulo’s traditional garden neighborhoods, the project comprises eight detached houses conceived as individual dwellings immersed in a continuous landscape. The architecture is organized around the presence of vegetation, treated not as a backdrop but as an active part of the spatial experience. Developed in collaboration with the landscape designer Caterina Poli, the garden introduces native species around the swimming pool, along the circulation areas, and into the visual field of the interiors, reinforcing the sense of living within a planted environment. The apartment is shaped around a warm, contemporary palette, with a focus on continuity, custom-made furniture and a few carefully chosen accents. The living room and kitchen are treated as one coherent space, where walnut finishes, soft off-white tones and light oak flooring create a calm and balanced background. A large part of the furniture was designed specifically for the apartment. Rounded corners and softened edges appear throughout the cabinetry, helping the volumes feel less rigid and giving the interior a more fluid character. This project was a small apartment with a floor area of merely 33 square meters. It was narrow in shape with two different levels of elevation, resulting in two different ceiling heights in a space.To alleviate the intrinsic sense of constraint and maximize visual openness, we hung the bedroom in the area with a higher ceiling to avoid horizontal visual obstructions while allowing natural light to penetrate into the room. It is not about occupying the site, but about listening to it. The house is not born as an object placed on the terrain, but as a volume that emerges from it, almost in silence, at the highest point of a steep slope in the Sonoran Desert, where the earth breaks and light defines everything; an architecture that does not sit upon the landscape, but seeks to integrate into and become part of the topography. From this vantage point, the dwelling positions itself to observe, frame, and inhabit its context. The condominium is composed of four houses located in Abuxarda, Portugal, developed from a layout that seeks to take advantage of the topography, solar exposure, and the existing natural surroundings. The ensemble presents itself as a contemporary architectural composition, marked by overlapping horizontal volumes, large glazed surfaces, spacious terraces, and a constant relationship between interior and exterior.
