M_01: Reinterpreting the Contemporary Tatami

By reducing architectural expression to its essential elements, M_01 transforms the traditional exhibition booth into a quiet, multisensory haven inspired by Japanese spatial philosophy. Unveiled at Marbella Design & Art 2026, M_01 addresses a common paradox of temporary fairs: trade show environments often overwhelm visitors with visual noise, forcing spaces to compete for attention within seconds. Commissioned by high-end joinery workshop Ramos y Cobos, Studio Vanesa Casas was tasked with showcasing the workshop's technical capabilities without resorting to a conventional, product-heavy display. The primary challenge was to craft a temporary installation that stood out precisely by slowing down the visitor experience, balancing stric... More

Ekaraa

CONCEPT Ekaraa is a 6,600 sq. ft. jewellery flagship in Mumbai, designed around a central architectural challenge: to make a layered and technically complex retail environment feel effortless. Its ethos centres on the jewel, the people who experience it, and the staff who bring that experience to life. Hence, the plan orchestrates three simultaneous journeys: the customer, the staff and service team, and the secure movement of jewellery. Each follows its own route and intersects with the others only where required. Security, storage, hospitality, services and technology are absorbed into the architecture, allowing an immersive retail experience to unfold without interruption. The customer journey moves from everyday collections towards i... More

Soft Light Villa

Soft Light Villa is an interior shaped around warmth, ease and the changing rhythms of family life. Set within a Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland villa on a typically constrained site, the architecture works through light, colour and material to make a compact home feel more generous. Samuel Hartnett Samuel Hartnett The experience begins at the threshold. A sage-painted front door inset with watermelon-coloured glass casts softly tinted light into the house, setting the tone for the rooms beyond. Nearby, lemon-coloured muffled glass defines the home office, separating it from family life, introducing a little optimism to every working day. Doro Apartment

IntroNearly a century ago, Battersea Power station started producing electricity for London’s expanding population.  Along the river Thames, boats carried the black coal to feed the enormous steam engines that once pumped dark clouds into the sky from its notorious four chimneys. As actors of the industrial revolution, workers walked daily out the front door of their identical row houses heading to work in the foggy streets.  Edvinas Bruzas This project has been thought as a deliberate break away from the darkness of the past to instil calm and lightness into a space that still references its historical origins.   The designWorking from the traditional canvas of a Victorian house layout, the Doro apartment ha... Cranleigh Lodge

“A new definition of luxury and calm in the centre of the city.’’ Project Brief and LocationIn Cranleigh Lodge every detail is designed to distil the project to its essence, to emphasize balance and harmony rather than a superficial shine. Although it is invisible from the bustling street, it lies as a hidden gem at the heart of Chelsea. Edvinas Bruzas As soon as you enter the garden, you are taken to a tranquil oasis, far from the commotion and chaos of the surrounding metropolis.Originally built as a smal... More

Crunchyroll Dallas Offices

When opening new offices, companies  are now faced with redefining  the purpose of those offices, and are having a hard time doing so. Many companies continue to design generic offices derived from modern but safe design choices that ultimately mean nothing to their employees. Others entice new hires with meaningless perks and one-off “immersive” rooms and installations. We believe that in a post-covid world, the correct approach is more nuanced than either of these strategies. The Crunchyroll Dallas office project embodies the idea that a company’s cultural identity should go far beyond the functional necessities of desks, meeting rooms, lighting and acoustics, simple color schemes, and logos on walls.
