Conceived as a creative community, Main + Hollister Live/Work aims to mix uses to enliven the neighborhood and encourage cross-feritization between tenants. The complex comprises several unique units: creative office space with flexibility to add or convert to retail space, private office, private residential, and live/work space. The various uses are bound together by shared parking at grade on an L-shaped lot on Santa Monica’s busy Main Street. The objective of this project was to create a vibrant creative office for international video conferencing experts, Zoom. Occupying more than 6,500 square feet in a dual split level building, we had to create an intuitive flow between the building’s four levels that would effectively fulfill the company’s program and employee needs. A ground level entry welcomes clients by way of product showrooms and displays as a means to demonstrate and ultimately sell their communications technology. Holst’s office on the third floor of the Eastside Exchange building fits the way we work. In what was originally an awkward U-shaped plan broken up into separate office suites, we envisioned an open office that facilitates collaboration and maintains intimate workstation “neighborhoods” without hierarchy. Working within the historic building’s twenty-foot bay width, each six foot wide workstation maintains close access to daylight and views. This daring project seeks to revive an abandoned building in the center of Bucharest and transform it into a sustainable and eccentric urban footprint. The architects propose an office building characterized by transparent surfaces merging with natural elements such as a rich vegetation, spreading over the built spaces. The atrium of the building is emphasized by a fully glazed surface, a reinforced glass façade that reveals the inner layout of the design. The very first Spaces in Taiwan is located at one of the very few grade A buildings in the commercial area of Hsinchu THSR district. The newly constructed building is with abundant local amenities, including restaurants, retail shops, recreation facilities and a hotel. Located in the Diegem area close by the international airport of Brussels, the centre occupies 4 floors of an innovative building. The area is home to the headquarters of several prestigious organizations and many large corporates. D&P was requested to renovate the 4 floors of building to offers 2038 sqm of fully equipped private and shared workspaces as well as entertainment and relaxing areas.
