Olen resort unfolds across a seaside, amphitheatrical plot, characterized by a steep southward slope and an uninterrupted view of the Aegean Sea. The primary challenge of the project was to satisfy complex functional requirements while respecting the morphology of the terrain. Olen is a composition of three morphological units — a Point, a Line, and a Plane. A residential complex arranged on three levels, combining submerged and above-ground structures. This project involves the renovation of a three-storey building in the port of Serifos. The building previously did not adhere to the local architectural tradition and had been abandoned for decades, gaining a reputation as a landmark of "ugliness." The main challenge, therefore, was to transform the building into something fresh, vibrant, and clean, erasing the memory of its negative image. Kalami Suites is a tourist accommodation located in the settlement of Livadi on Serifos, offering views of Chora, the main town of the island. A distinctive feature of the plot was the tall, linear reed formation along its boundary with the road. Alexandros Voutsinas This characteristic was preserved by replanting a linear cluster of reeds along the building’s boundary, both to restore the original appearance for passersby and to create a visual and sound buffer between the reception area and the parking zone. Pénde Natura consists of two independent small houses, Keli and Mandri, meaning Cell and Pen, respectively. The Cell (on the right) is composed of two reconstructed buildings dating before 1955, while the Pen (on the left) is a new construction that follows the footprint of an old sheep pen. The Moustis cells (cell from the Greek word keli referring to old traditional small spaces), named after the nickname of their previous owner (Moustis, derived from 'must,' the grape juice before fermentation), involve the reconstruction of two adjoining cells in a "L" shape, transforming them into a residence that can accommodate up to four people. The first cell houses the bedroom of the residence, while the second includes the kitchen, living room (which can accommodate two people), and the bathroom. The residence is located on the south side of Paros Island. It is south facing, with sea and the entrance is from the north side. The particularity of this plot is its location. It is located on a cape with views from all four orientations. The ysterni traɪæŋɡəl is in the area of Ysterni on Paros,Cyclades , nearby are the remains of the Vigla phryktoria of Ysterni. It was one of the 11 phryktorias that made up the Tinos- Asia Minor communication network during the Mycenaean era. Following the planning of the phryktories, the residence is placed on the hill of Ysterni. It has a southeast orientation for maximum use of light and protection from the strong northerly winds that characterize the Cycladic Island. Located in the area with the toponym "Psilafi" in Paros Greece. As its Greek name betrays it, it is at the highest point of a hill, it has a southwest orientation on the long side, overlooking the sea and Antiparos. The "dwellings" found in the area have a unique character due to the topography. The first step was to find a plot of land in an ideal location, with a building permit already approved. We found a place where the sun meets the sky and sea, an idyllic setting like Fanari in Mykonos.
