Burovision Ottawa
In 2015, FOR. designed Burovision’s first showroom in Canada’s national capital. Eight years later, after a pandemic and the merger of Knoll with Herman Miller, Burovision has doubled its space, positioning itself as a leader in office furniture. They entrusted FOR. with the mission of creating the work environments of tomorrow—spaces that resonate with new realities, encourage employees to return to the office, enhance productivity by tailoring environments to tasks, and set an example for the industry.
In a single 7,000 sq. ft. longitudinal space, FOR. presents 21 vignettes, each with a distinct ambiance, landmarks, and functions. From the moment you enter, a story begins to unfold… An Unfolding Story.

flat point, Seongsu
Flat Point, a living design brand that adds a touch of uniqueness to customers' spaces with its minimalist design approach, has relocated and expanded its showroom from Samseong-dong to a two-story space in Seongsu-dong. The new Seongsu-dong showroom, set slightly back from the bustling main street, allows for a slower, more reflective atmosphere. Spanning around 660 square meters, the L-shaped building connects two former factories, featuring rough finishes on its facade and an outdoor staircase leading to the rooftop, capturing the essence of Seongsu-dong’s industrial past.

The Fluidic
The client envisaged the luxurious retail space for premium salon furniture. The retail store was about 1800 sft with column right in the centre of the store. The designers took advantage of the central radical element, which spells bound the spatial organisation in a circular pattern, hence the circular pattern in ceiling and flooring. The circular ceiling with level differences and accentuated with blue colour lights gives a feel of expanse and fluidity. The minimalistic design has a color palette predominantly of white, broken with wooden finish. the mirror used on one wall doubles the volume of space and gives the grandeur feel for the space. More

Kettal Showroom
Studio Urquiola redesigned Kettal’s showroom in the center of Barcelona with main intention to highlight its site-specificity while expressing the character of the brand, in order to create a space where the Mediterranean outdoor living is celebrated. Typical Spanish architecture features such as the existing iron structure and the original brick vaults of the ceiling where revealed and emphasized, and traditional typological features like the idea of the patio-courtyard and the extended use of ceramic tiles were introduced.
Taking advantage of the double height of the space and in an attempt to unify its 2 levels, the additional architectural elements that were inserted in order to identify the different zones of the showroom were 3 seq... More
