Miami Pool House
A successful Washington D.C. entrepreneurial bachelor had the vision to buy a historic home in Miami Beach, Florida. Built in 1937, this Mediterranean Revival estate was purchased at auction for $8 million, at which an additional $32 million was invested for a "renovation," putting his total outlay to $40 million, making it the most expensive "redo" to anyone's recollection in Miami history. One of the property's unique features is the pool house, a pagoda-like building reminiscent of the Katsura Imperial Villa in Japan. A striking mid-rise boutique hotel development expanding the capacity of this late 19th-century heritage ‘gold rush’ hotel.
The completely refurbished hotel comprises 22 refurbished heritage rooms and 51 new rooms. Rooms share a circulation ‘street’ space woven through and around the heritage building. A three-level glazed conservatory space delineates the original 1897 building fabric and the new boutique rooms. Within, the materiality expressed contrasts the rustic and textural rear of the building with a contemporary internal façade. It includes an extended food and beverage offer, an expanded function and business facility and new rooftop bar.

Our PHOS Design shower curtain rails and matching hooks have also been installed in the hotel rooms of the new BVLGARI Resort in Dubai.
Designed by architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel & Partners, the fifth BVLGARI 5-star luxury hotel is located on Jumeirah Bay Island.
The interior design is accompanied by a wide range of luxurious amenities and is also shaped like a titanic seahorse. The complex marine resort is framed by lush gardens.
There are 100 rooms & suites, 20 residential villas and is defined by a marina.
For each hotel room, we supplied our Ø12mm rod systems with the different & slightly modified L-shaped shower curtain rods and towel ladders. We customised the straight rods to individual dimensions.... More
