OVERVIEW
Located within the dense forest texture of Bolu-Mengen, Dedeman Village Culinary is a manifesto by ECCE GROUP that reinterprets the concept of "Modern Luxury" through rural tourism. The project is envisioned not merely as an accommodation facility, but as a holistic experience center that integrates organic architecture, advanced sustainability principles, and refined gastronomy culture.
ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT & MORPHOLOGY
The design philosophy is built upon amorphous and curvilinear lines that respect the topographical movements of the land, rather than rigid forms that dominate nature. Instead of a monolithic mass, the structure settles into the terrain with a 3-story, terraced strategy. This tiered placement ensures the building is perceived at a human scale, while wide terraces at every level create fluid, permeable living spaces that dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
In the facade tectonics, a contrast dialogue is established between aluminum, representing modernity, and natural stone, reflecting the local texture. This material palette aims for the structure to visually integrate with its surroundings as it patinates over time.
SUSTAINABILITY & TECHNOLOGY
Beyond aesthetic concerns, the project is shaped according to "Energy-Friendly Building" criteria. High-performance insulation layers used in façade and roof systems, combined with high-tech heat pumps in the HVAC infrastructure, minimize the carbon footprint and ensure maximum energy efficiency throughout all four seasons.
PROGRAM & CULINARY CAMPUS
The heart of the project beats in its gastronomy spaces, reflecting the "Culinary" emphasis in its name. The transparent Lobby, Restaurant, and Bar areas bring the forest panorama indoors through floor-to-ceiling glass façades. The "Educational Kitchen" within the hotel offers flexibility with movable panels for corporate workshops, while the outdoor "Gastronomy Square" transforms into a social agora for festivals and open-air tastings.
HOSPITALITY & WELLNESS
The boutique accommodation units, consisting of 20 keys (Spa Suites, Executive Garden, Family Rooms), offer guests an isolated and luxurious sanctuary. Wellness areas focus on the healing power of nature; the indoor pool, with one façade opening completely to the forest, and the Scandinavian-style outdoor sauna create a therapeutic experience integrated with nature, even under winter snow.
LANDSCAPE & KIDS' WORLD
The surrounding landscape fosters an active lifestyle with greenhouses (Domes) supporting the "farm-to-table" concept and various sports courts. For children, the topography-embedded "Hobbit Play House" and the comprehensive "Child Development Center" complete the project's goal of connecting every age group with nature.
