Project Right next to Leiden Central Station stands the location of the new "LEVEL" building. The ROC Leiden rents a number of floors (floors 1 to 7) in this new building location. In addition to the ROC, in this multifunctional building a hotel, a city spa, a commercial restaurant and a commercial strip with shops have been constructed. A unique collaboration between the ROC Leiden and Fitland exists whereby students learn in this particular practice area. Danone Nutricia Research has opened a new innovation centre in Utrecht. With this new building, Danone will gather together the research activities carried out in the Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain, and give them the space to grow. The new innovation centre was designed by the architect’s office Cepezed and developed by OVG at the Utrecht Science Park. The building has received the BREEAM design certificate for excellence. Danone was assisted by AOS Studley in the development of the concept. The interior concept was shaped by interior architect Chris Pachen. Project On December 4th, 2013, NUON took over use of the existing 27,500m2 multi-storeyed building in Amsterdam South-East. This building which is called ‘New Amsterdam’ is now the headquarters of N.V. NUON Energy in the Netherlands. The renovation of the building can be described as very significant and thorough: both the exterior and interior have been completely redone except for the concrete skeleton: open spaces have been arranged across several floors in the building, and a sixth floor has been added to the building. Around 1980, the architects’ group BosRosdorffWiebing designed the accommodation for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in Zoetermeer. From 2003, they prepared the building for housing of the AIVD and CFI, the implementing organisation Central Funding of Institutions Agency. Since 2002, Dehullu has a framework agreement with OCW and has provided the new signage system. The designs for the signs were realised in partnership with the interior architect Casper Zwarts and Jaap Elzas designers. The house style and furnishing and fittings constituted the starting points. Gelre Ziekenhuizen uses a specific house style for its signposting. A custom-made signage system was therefore designed and developed. The house style of Gelre Ziekenhuizen has been beautifully integrated in the signs used. Gelre Ziekenhuizen is located in Apeldoorn and is right in the middle of the Veluwe nature reserve. The signs incorporate elements of the surroundings in such a way that the whole is entirely in keeping with the internal and external surroundings of Gelre Ziekenhuizen.
