The Davis Community

The program for The Davis Community’s expansion originated based on input from feasibility studies, the community’s desire for outreach, the geometry of the site, and input on best practices. The concept that emerged was to create a vibrant hub, featuring a world-class community and wellness center called The Promenade, and Independent Living spaces, including 32 cottages and this 141-unit apartment building known as “The Residences.” Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals Peak Visuals... MTV FLYP

Located in Lower Parel, the idea behind was to create a space that becomes the cultural home of the millennial generation. The cafe has spaces that provide holistic experiences through décor itself. The client’s brief, was to create a space that can easily accommodate and transform as per various events and also showcase MTV in all its glory. Taking the client’s brief as the foundation, team Chromed let their imaginations run wild and hence the idea of a café that literally ‘flips’ came into being. The intent was to create a dynamic and ever-changing space. Each of the functional element in the restaurant like lighting, furniture and partitions change in order to alter the overall atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, dinner or special occasions. More

A completely demountable office space

This space was modelled for a furniture manufacturer firm. The overall interior design together with the panelling system is demountable so as to allow for a further reassamblage.Having a support structure lacking in architectural and spatial value in particular, the project aims to highlight some elements to organise the exterior area, to wrap the space completely, establishing various connections with the patio and the exterior garden. In the proposal, the light, warm wood texture prevails, balanced only by the accents in the dark grey metallic panels, while the details of the furniture and the configuration of the light fittings bring substance in the space. The project proposes a working space for six people with a specially-designed rela... La Rosina Hotel & Restaurant

Knowledge is the best aid strategy against barriers. The word “Handicap” comes from the noble world of horse racing: to make a steeple race more difficult the jockey was asked to hold his cap in one hand.Thence from this: “To hand the cap”. The glance with which we look at, the intention with which we name reality - make reality real. Knowledge, without a doubt, makes reality more beautiful.CAP originates from an intuition in design with a desire to see the world for what it could be. CAP is a series of foldaway aids in coated aluminium that, if not in use, disappear from view. It is this “disappearance” that reveals their true meaning. Here design is genuinely for everyone, because the overall interior design is not underpinned by... More

Black House

This four bed family house sits in the heart of the Kent countryside surrounded by mature trees and gardens.   The house encompasses a mixture of framed and linear views across four carefully sculpted gardens that aim to each capture a piece of the surrounding landscape.   Inspired by the building and land topography of Dungeness, located on the south Kent coast, this house is a collection of five modules clustered around a central courtyard. The Black House’s rectangular massing was divided into blocks by key site axes, a view from the pool to a large populus tree, and a previous path to the site. Each block is linked to a distinct aspect of the garden, with a final connecting view provided from the roof of a brick towe... More

The Elements

The Elements is a private new build house in Hampshire, completed in early 2017 by Winchester based architects AR Design Studio. Adjacent to the stunning River Hamble and its popular marina, it is nestled within meadows rich in native wildlife. With a global collection of friends and family, the client required a large home in which to regularly host and entertain. The home focuses on accommodating a number of guests in the homeliest way possible, providing an experience of a ‘home-from-home’. It is hoped that the home will create lasting memories among visiting friends and family. The massing for the home is divided into three interlocking blocks. Two blocks, one for guests, the other for the family, are connected by a central entra... More
