Delap's primary drive behind their full office renovation was about people: forming an authentic connection with clients in a remote meeting world and creating a beautiful office space for their employees looking to return to in-person work. USNR Headquarters, located in Woodland, WA, sits on a campus consisting of both office and manufacturing space. The renovation of the main office building at the forefront of the campus aimed to achieve an all-new entry vestibule to welcome visitors, an open and collaborative workstation plan to align with the nature of their work, and updated finishes to coincide with their brand and other locations. Redesigning a house, after a few years, because the customers who lived in it changed (while remaining in the same family) has been the challenge of this work. Yara Bonanni In a house, with a small amount of natural light, we've worked by the exasperation of the gloomy atmosphere of the space. The use of intense grays on the floor and walls creates a dark atmosphere, a neutral base for several art pieces and the owners’ collections. An effervescent energy radiates from an old Park Slope brownstone renewed with an 80s pop design-inspired theme. The exterior architecture, defined by an Italianate style from the late 1800s, spans three floors for a young couple with an additional garden suite for tenancy. BWM Architekten redesigned the iconic Figlmüller Restaurant in Vienna’s Bäckerstrasse as well as extending it to incorporate the entire ground floor of the neighbouring building. The redesign of the interior of AGBU’s Vahe Karapetyan Building, isn’t merely limited to the design of the interior because we incorporated functional elements and tried to connect key functionalities of the interior to the exterior. Thus, we created external walkways that are attached to the building. This first one connects the first floor to the second to create a direct connection from reception area to exhibition room. The second one connects the second floor to the third, thus connecting the exhibition room to the auditorium. This is how we imagined connecting the exterior of the building of the interior. The project acts as an intervention on a pre-existing structure in order to provide arenas for various activities – subject to change in time – but also to open up the interior, connecting it with the green in the patio.The open ground floor brings together the daily activities of the entire family. The estate as a whole is a monument of history and is a tourist attraction of the province of Silesia. Interior of the apartment is modern and minimalist. Forms are simple, and colors totalitarian consistent and uncompromising.
