Amoreiras 43
The Amoreiras 43 project proposes the rehabilitation of a small building, for a single family house, which is spread over several floors and has an outdoor patio with garden and a pool.
Among the interventions, the requalification of the south gable as a main façade is evident, evident after the demolition of an adjoining building, in order to fit in with the rhythm of the façades of the street. The works to reorganize the GCP square and the construction of the underground parking lot, further emphasized the importance of resolving this end of the block with the building nº 43.

Casa Amaro
The contemporary 2-storey dwelling is defined by white chromatic planes, which intersect with glass planes, and with black stone elements on the lower floor, whose black chromatic will contaminate the interior of the house. The trivial housing program, inserts the private areas on the upper floor of the house, and social areas on the lower floor, with a room that shares the space with the kitchen. Due to a sharp unevenness of the land, the entrance of the house is made through the highest area of the lot, allowing the elevation of the house, in the lowest land area of the terrain, creating a prominent volume in relation to the south street, and thus guaranteeing , greater privacy, compared to the glazed area of the dwelling. 3-D green tile pattern key to the total transformation of this Lisbon villa

Starting with a simplification of the existing façade openings and transformation of sill windows into French windows, the exterior improvements go much further, with the application of handmade 3-D green tiles to the exterior volume at the lower level, providing balance with the natural green environment.
