Chromatica

Intervening within the historic fabric of Padua requires a sophisticated mediation between the layers of memory and the desire for contemporary domesticity. This renovation project, developed over a surface area of 75 sqm, undertakes a distributive overhaul to maximize spatial usability, responding to the desires of an eclectic clientele—whose taste ranges from Pop vibrancy to refined retro suggestions. Caption The rewriting of the home finds its starting point in the definition of the horizontal plane. The choice of oak flooring laid in a Hungarian herringbone pattern is not incidental, but constitutes the generating matrix of the entire intervention: a strong and elegant geometric layout that, recovering the tradition of histo... Sectilis

In the center of Treviso, the interior design of the Sectilis penthouse is configured as an exercise in spatial rewriting that works on the balance between the geometric rigor of fixed elements and the superficial treatment of finishes. The intervention, developed over an internal surface of 122 sqm, addresses two distinct compositional themes: the management of long wall curtains in the living area and the geometric resolution of a sleeping area with an irregular floor plan. The living area is conceived as a fluid continuum, unified on the ground by sand-colored cement resin flooring that acts as a neutral and bright horizontal plane. Set upon this base is the project's true organizing device: ash wood. Moving away from the logic of mass-... More

Operaprima

The interior design of this penthouse is defined through an investigation into the continuity of living, where matter is not intended as a simple covering, but as an architectural device capable of enhancing and ordering the space. The intervention explores the theme of the open plan, replacing traditional wall partitions with a system of functional backdrops. The goal is to create an environment where the boundary between different domestic functions is perceived as a fluid transition, orchestrated by the tectonics of fixed elements. The expressive lexicon is dominated by research into the potential of natural stone. Travertine becomes the generating element of the surfaces, explored through different processing logics that change its tac... More

Its distribution allows a clear difference between the day and night areas. Separating both in each wing of the house, but all revolving around one main element: the swimming pool. Terraços de Bragança

A renovation project in an apartment part of the iconic Terraços de Bragança complex, designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, on the slopes of Rua do Alecrim in Lisbon. GV+A The proposal was based on the need to enlarge and smooth out the social spaces of the apartment, which had previously been compartmentalized. The demolition of a small suite and the pantry made it possible to reorganize the kitchen area, now with a full view of the Tagus River and marked by a generous central island that structures the space. GV+A The dining and living rooms, originally separated by a wall, were unified into a single continuous environment, defined around a bioethanol fireplace. This element, proposed as a focal point,... Catalogue house with contrasts in Valencia, Spain

This high-end modular house in Valencia has a total of 344 m² distributed over two floors. This gives it a spectacular façade aesthetic. TURNIEJOWA APARTMENT

‘The philosophy of our architectural firm is to design timeless architecture and interiors that are relevant at any time, even in a decade or two, that are forward-looking and therefore always valuable. Our mission is to bring beauty, comfort and harmony to life.’ JABRAARCHITECTS JABRAARCHITECTS Creating this interior anew was not easy. On a surface area of 110m2, we had to isolate, in addition to the living room, kitchen and dining room, three children's rooms, a bedroom, an office, a dressing room and two bathrooms, an entrance hall, wardrobes and communication. For this, the design had to be expressive, maximally functional and timeless. The demolition of the walls covered the entire existing room layout, which made... More

Doro Apartment

IntroNearly a century ago, Battersea Power station started producing electricity for London’s expanding population.  Along the river Thames, boats carried the black coal to feed the enormous steam engines that once pumped dark clouds into the sky from its notorious four chimneys. As actors of the industrial revolution, workers walked daily out the front door of their identical row houses heading to work in the foggy streets.  Edvinas Bruzas This project has been thought as a deliberate break away from the darkness of the past to instil calm and lightness into a space that still references its historical origins.   The designWorking from the traditional canvas of a Victorian house layout, the Doro apartment ha... Parisian Pied-à-Terre

The existing apartment layout was far from ideal, with several tiny and impractical rooms. As a result, complete remodelling was necessary to meet the requirement of our London based client to have a comfortable space for social gatherings. In order to achieve this requirement within the constraints of 32m2, we created a generous living space by optimising the bedroom and bathroom. François Coquerel Our approach was to push all built elements to the apartment’s extremities, freeing up the living area. In essence, the convivial L form layout, repeated in each corner of the apartment, allowed an appropriate dispersion of functions: eating and lounging close to the large windows, cooking and storage opposite. C 24

The project is situated within the residential development of Bosque Real (State of Mexico) in one of the most iconic towers in the area, Core 31. The 460 sqm apartment has been conceived on a circular floor plan that distinctly separates and distributes the public and private programs. This division is achieved through a grooved marble wainscoting that spans the entire length of the hallway and the social area. Jaime Navarro Jaime Navarro This is accompanied by a wooden soffit that extends throughout the apartment, covering the dining area and the study room to emphasize the main circulation axis. One of the project's intentions was to create a dynamic and functional social area that could adapt according to needs. This translat... More
