Casa Acordeón
This detached house, with 141.51 m² of roof area plus garage and swimming pool, is located in a unique landscape and environment in the province of Málaga, the Serranía de Ronda. Framed by the Sierra de Grazalema to the west and the Sierra de las Nieves to the southeast, the building unfolds, fragments, and rotates to create a perfect symbiosis between the surrounding world, the program of needs, and the interior atmosphere. We started this assignment in order to give a new life to a real estate development that has been stagnant since 2004. Therefore, we have to adapt to an already executed concrete structure and design a new distribution, not only inside, generating more open spaces and diaphanous, but silvering a new way of life in the houses.

Views of the Mediterranean sea, light, air, sustainability. Málaga Towers is an apartment project distributed throughout three towers with a single, unified image that has the ambition to help build the image of the city. Façades with landscaped terraces on cantilever overhangs, water features, and gardens draw a space of calm and tranquility.

La Centinela reflects on history and relationship to land with this sustainable renovation
In Malaga, Spain, FOR Arquitectura has rehabilitated a century-old house suffering from capillary dampness, absence of thermal insulation and a lack of hygienic and sanitary resources. By embracing the original layout of the home and existing materials including the load-bearing walls of Cantilla stone (a local stone used in the construction of the Cathedral naves in Malaga), the architects have embraced the historic memory of the building and its connection to the landscape.
