Landmark Altabrisa is a 32-story mixed-use tower concept proposed for Mérida through an independent competition. The project brings together residential, commercial, hospitality, restaurant and entertainment programs, treating the tower as a civic destination rather than an isolated high-rise. The Goals: To complete the development of the Am Garnmarkt neighborhood, a new mixed-use building combining retail, office, and residential space was to be constructed. The Implementation: This striking building provides an attractive focal point for the neighborhood. It serves as a transition from the dense development in the center to the more open residential area to the north. The building has five stories on the south side and three stories on the north side. Located in the Seferihisar district of İzmir, the project is conceived as a contemporary residential settlement that foregrounds the relationship between landscape, topography, and the coastline. The masterplan establishes a continuous spatial experience with the sea through two pedestrian pathways connecting the site to the pier and the shoreline. Situated on a 21,000-square-foot lot with three street frontages, the project is both an architectural response to its context and a forward-looking addition to the neighborhood fabric. A “public house” that features a restaurant, an artistic display, and a community gathering place. Moradores describes itself as a “public house” composed of a restaurant, art exhibition, and a meeting point for the community, within a nearly 100-year-old house that is one of the few survivors of the evolution of a representative neighborhood in downtown Toluca. Developed by Braeburn Estates, a joint venture between Canary Wharf Group plc and Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, Belvedere Gardens is the third building to be launched within the Southbank Place masterplan.
