Hillside Pavilion began with a decision to work with the land. On a site in Wayzata, Minnesota, that descends from the road toward a wooded backyard, JMAD Architecture set the home into the slope. Its low profile at the approach opens into a partial walkout at the rear, allowing the terrain to shape both the building’s form and its organization. AJ Residence is a contemporary minimal villa in Vilnius, Lithuania, designed as a single-storey U-shaped composition that follows the gentle slope of the site. The house is organised around a private landscaped courtyard, creating a close relationship between architecture, garden and everyday living. Set within three acres of countryside in Curdridge, Hampshire, Jasmine House reimagines an existing four-bedroom property as a contemporary family home shaped by its rural surroundings. Paddocks, mature trees and established hedgerows define the setting, with open views across the landscape and towards a riding arena informing the design approach. Tankut Y. Residence is the owner's house at the heart of a private equestrian estate in Kemalpaşa, Bursa. The design is complete; construction has not yet begun, and the images shown are architectural renderings. The house within the estate The residence is one of eight buildings planned across a 717,700 m² estate, with a total built area of around 3,000 m². Alongside the owner's house, the masterplan includes stables, a mare and foaling barn, a stallion barn, two hay barns, two manure storage buildings, an administrative building, staff and guest houses, and a training area. The project involves the renovation and expansion of a villa and its adjacent "barchessa" (an open-sided outbuilding), situated in the heart of an enchanting garden surrounded by a dense wood of broad-leaved trees, hornbeams, and maples. It is precisely the presence of this open-air "green room" that dictated the initial design choices aimed at enhancing the connection with the outdoors. Completed in 2026 by NiMa Design, Oborishte 26 is a contemporary residential building located in the historic Oborishte neighbourhood, in the heart of Sofia, Bulgaria. The project replaces a deteriorated Brutalist structure from the Socialist period, using the character of the former building as one of the starting points for the new design. Rather than erasing the site's recent architectural history, the project reinterprets its Brutalist qualities through a contemporary residential language. Skademosen 1+2 is a competition proposal for a residential development as part of a land acquisition process in Trekroner, Roskilde. The proposal comprises approximately 30 homes, arranged as a cohesive residential cluster around a central courtyard, accessed directly from Skademosen.
