The new Brainshare SaldeoSMART office was created as a deliberate strategic decision rather than a simple company relocation. The project occupies an entire floor of Unity Tower in Cracow and was designed for a team of 68 employees. The Obvious started off as any other project, the client approached to brief about their third workspace as they grew in a bigger team. Being designers with a set of principles and unique sense of choice made them play a major role in developing the design from the very start. Further discussions led to the concept driven by minimalism and the soft colour palette which fixated the scheme to be only white, grey, texture of birch ply and a little green. TRACE is a renowned VFX studio that processes graphic editing of Hollywood movies and films at large. With their main office and stock-holders based out of USA, the brief called for a novel design at a new location (right adjacent to their old office in Mumbai), which would enable and envisage the expansion that communicates their signature identity. Sited at the ground level, the facade development was of prime importance, and a crucial point for the design conceptualisation by NCUBE design team. The Architect’s Studio, located in Ahmedabad, is designed as a place of work for a design firm. Located on the fourth floor in a relatively old residential building, the two penthouses were used as an architectural office and a residence. Due to multiple renovations over the years, the existing penthouses became a mess of jumbled walls, leading to poor ingress of natural light.
