The project is a duplex located on the top floor of a Parisian building. A complete refurbishment requested by the new owners, a family with two children. The entrance is on the lower level. A full-length balcony faces the bedrooms. This is the children's floor. The existng staircase leads to the living areas on the upper floor. A living room, dining room and kitchen benefit from an unobstructed view thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the background, a large imposing volume encloses the universe of the parents; a dressing room and a bathroom. A small staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor under the roof. The burger joint is situated in a mid-1950s residential building in the historic center of Belgrade, Serbia, featuring large windows that overlook a busy street and a park. Vibe’s latest residence, Hayes Road began with a simple, universal brief. A young family needed a home that would facilitate a modern and open way of living, yet also cater for and conceal the ‘stuff’ that family life generates. This interior design brief was for a luxury Hedge Fund office space in Singapore. We were required to create a stylish, comfortable office that offered a variety of different break-out areas where staff could remove themselves from the intensity and immediate stress, even if only momentarily.The project site was situated on the upper floors of three combined shophouses, which provided an unconventional space due to the original architecture of the building. Raw concrete, brick, timber, metal and light formed the underlying material pallet from our clients previous lives in a Manhattan loft. Through a series of structural alterations this Victorian property in Peckham, South London was extended at ground floor and opened out to form an elegant and light filled space enhanced by exposing and expressing the construction materials that are usually hidden or covered.
