CUF Hospitals & Clinics
CUF is a growing network of private healthcare, formed by 18 hospitals and clinics based in Portugal. However, despite providing a similar service across the group, until now each unit had its own particular environment. CASA DR
The project is developed on a 600 m² urban plot located in Meia-Via, Torres Novas. Situated in an expanding residential area, the site is defined by surrounding streets and undeveloped lots, yet framed by single-family houses of diverse architectural styles. This heterogeneity and lack of strong references became the starting point for a proposal that distinguishes itself through a contemporary design language, based on simple and sober volumetrics with clear geometric definition.

CASA PATIO IV
The house is accessed through an atrium: an open, central space, which is also a place for reception, socializing and family gatherings.
The project relates to the volume and scale of the building context, with the materiality and color (natural clay) dominant in the traditional roofs.

The exterior atrium, with its privileged light from the east, has the characteristics of a confluence space, and is also a transition space between the residential environment to the south and the work areas at the opposite end.

MH House
The project’s starting point was its integration with the natural area of the Colares pine forest. The building mass rests on a slab platform that interrupts the natural vegetation.

The architectural object resulted in a contemporary interpretation of a gabled roof building, seeking a strong relationship between the interior and exterior areas, whether they are the garden, balconies, porches, or covered or open terraces. The result was an architectural object that respected its surroundings and had a simple and straightforward language with contemporary details and aesthetics.
