Portuguese Grey Rustic Limestone Irregular Natural Split

Portuguese Grey Rustic Limestone is a natural limestone sourced from selected quarries in Central Portugal. Each piece is individually selected, creating an irregular composition with natural variations in shape, texture and warm beige tones. The stone features a natural split face that preserves its authentic mineral character, while the sawn flat back facilitates installation and allows the material to be used as natural stone cladding for both contemporary and traditional architecture. Suitable for exterior façades, garden and boundary walls, interior feature walls, villas, hospitality and landscape projects. The irregular format allows architects and installers to create distinctive masonry compositions, from refined faç... More

Villa Exomandria

Villa Exomandria is a contemporary Cycladic retreat on the hillside of Monastiria, Antiparos — 700 square metres of built space set within 10,000 square metres of raw, sun-baked landscape, with panoramic views across the Aegean toward Sifnos and Paros. The Cyclades have one of the world's most recognisable architectural traditions: cubic white forms, thick walls, stone and lime plaster, buildings shaped by the same logic for centuries. Villa Exomandria builds on that tradition without decorating it. Raw concrete and natural stone mirror the surrounding cliffs. Whitewashed walls, exposed wooden beams, and large openings pull light in from every direction. The pool follows the natural contours of the hillside rather than imposing a geome... More

CN House

CN House is a residence designed for a family entering their retirement years, set within a long and narrow site in Khao Yai that stretches from the public road to the foothills beyond. Surrounded by natural landscapes and panoramic mountain views, the house is conceived as a place for long-term living in close connection with nature. DOF Sky|Ground DOF Sky|Ground DOF Sky|Ground DOF Sky|Ground DOF Sky|Ground The project began by rethinking the conventional organization of a house. Rather than placing communal functions on the ground floor and bedrooms above, all bedrooms were located on the lower level to ensure ease of access, support long-term living, and reduce dependence on stairs. In contrast, the living room,... More

Casa Nido. Nesting within heritage in Valencia

Occupying a corner plot in Torrefiel -one of Valencia’s most humble neighborhoods- the Nest House is conceived as an exercise in protecting and highlighting the scarce and valuable built heritage still preserved in the streets of this key peripheral district in the city's north. David Zarzoso David Zarzoso David Zarzoso David Zarzoso Indeed, although code regulations allowed us to demolish the existing structure and build a new, the project insisted from the very beginning on preserving the original envelope and seeking shelter within it. It is as if that skin -made of solid brick and lime mortar, held intact over the years- had now become the foundation (or perhapsthe nest) for a new, emergent architecture that r... More

Jonoya House

The site is located in one of Osaka’s central districts, a neighborhood where informal streets and narrow lanes weave through a mix of row houses, new residences, small shops, and temples. The area retains a warm, down‑to‑earth atmosphere rooted in its older character, and I wanted to create a home that would settle naturally into this context. Yosuke Ohtake Yosuke Ohtake Yosuke Ohtake But what does it mean for architecture to “settle in”? It involves layers of naturalness, time, subjectivity, and objectivity—elements that are difficult to define logically. It is essential yet inherently unstable, shifting with human emotion. In a dense urban environment where public and private realms overlap, this b... More

O16 House

Starting from a desire to blend a unique, tropical, and private sanctuary for a house, comes a dwelling that welcomes the user to indulge in natural elements, both man-made and contextual. O16 is located in a gateless complex with a corner site that overlook a basketball park and the complex perimeter boundary. The house has secluded feeling with views and row of eternal greeneries that are given by the surroundings, thus making the 2nd floor of the house basically undisturbed in terms of views. Ernest Theofilus Ernest Theofilus The design of the house is trying to maximize this advantage by orienting almost all the required rooms and activity toward basketball park that is covered with trees, including the journey to the main e... Cabin in Chamonix

At the request of long time clients, we designed and supervised the construction of a new cabin in the Chamonix valley. The site is located within a residential compound built in the 50’s. A cabin dating from the original master plan was on the lot. The location benefits from sweeping and stunning views over the Mont Blanc skyline. This majestic view was the starting point of the design. Pascal Tournaire Pascal Tournaire Pascal Tournaire Pascal Tournaire Pascal Tournaire Pascal Tournaire  After a first programmatic study, it quickly became clear that the existing cabin was not suited for its new use. Thermal constraints and the project’s goals didn’t justify a remodeling of the existing... More

House in the vineyards

The project is located in the heart of the Sancerre wine region, in Chavignol. The owner, a wine producer, entrusted the agency with the design and construction of his family home, conceived as a living space that is both intimate and open to the landscape. The hillside site offers exceptional views of the slopes where the client's vineyards extend. This rich and soothing view guided the design of the spaces from the outset. YHEONHUI HOUSE

Context & Architectural ApproachThe Yeonhui-dong mixed-use building begins with a respect for the existing alleyways and surrounding context. The neighborhood is composed of a dense fabric of small-scale residential buildings, where older structures reveal layers of time and accumulated history. Dahae Park Traditional alleyways and modest houses coexist, forming a unique local identity where past and present overlap. The area reflects everyday life and the traces of a community shaped over time. The core idea of the project is to create an architecture that harmonizes with this environment through natural tones, restrained materials, and simple massing. Rather than introducing an assertive form, the design seeks to quietly integr... More
