Moradia em Alvide

The philosophical concept rests on the idea of permanence and lightness: the house is implanted in the terrain and is formed by concrete slabs as if recognizing the memory of the place, respecting its presence and integrating it as the foundation of the project. João Morgado João Morgado The garden on the slabs emerges as an inversion of the traditional concept of fertile soil. Here, nature is not merely a support, but a conquest. Vegetation settles on the concrete, creating a dialogue between the organic and the mineral, between what grows and what remains. This garden does not seek to conceal the concrete, but rather to enhance it, allowing it to emerge and participate in the composition of the space. Jo&atil... More

BU House

BU House unfolds as a contemporary sanctuary for a business person whose lifestyle demands both comfort and refinement. The interior architecture is conceived as a layered narrative, beginning in the social heart of the residence — the living and dining areas — where space is choreographed around the client’s extensive art collection. With works by celebrated Turkish artists such as Yüksel Arslan, Komet and Fikret Mualla, the placement of canvases and sculptures informed the architectural composition, transforming the interiors into a curated environment where art and daily life coexist seamlessly. Moradia em Albarquel

This project concerns a single-family dwelling set on a plot with a steep natural slope and a privileged view over a surrounding landscape rich in vegetation and close to a body of water. The layout of the house takes advantage of the topography, sitting on a partially suspended platform that provides a continuous visual connection with the horizon and subtle integration with the surrounding nature. Hra-Lisboa Hra-Lisboa Hra-Lisboa The architectural proposal is based on a volumetric composition marked by horizontal lines and overlapping planes, defining a contemporary, minimalist, and elegant language. The large glazed openings play a central role, allowing the fusion between interior and exterior, creating spacious, bright... More

Moradia Unifamiliar Carnaxide

The project consists of a three-storey single-family house, set on a sloping plot with a steep longitudinal gradient. The main premise of the architectural design was to enhance the relationship between the interior and exterior, providing wide, unobstructed views and a continuous experience between the living spaces and the outdoor garden and leisure areas. Hra-Lisboa Hra-Lisboa The architectural language adopted is based on a contemporary aesthetic of pure lines and marked volumes, highlighting the contrast between opaque planes covered in light-coloured stone and continuous glazed surfaces. The composition of the elevations prioritises horizontality, accentuated by the large cantilevered balconies that define the three living... More

Lux Cave

Project “Lux Cave” involved the conversion of a 200 m2 warehouse into an entertainment area for personal use. The owner envisaged the construction of an entertainment space that aligns with their hobbies, such as watching sports or playing video games, and hanging out with friends. Green Park Residence

Green Park Residence is nestled next to a public park and is designed to harmonize with its peaceful natural setting. Incorporating two courtyards that seem to extend into the park, it provides a feeling of continuity and creates a gentle transition between private areas and shared spaces. The layout of the residence is planned to flow naturally across the property, organically connecting all spaces with each other and incorporating the entire structure to its surroundings as a whole. Apostolos Arsenis Living areas are linked to a central hub intended for family gatherings. Located at the very center of the house, this area acts as the heart of the residence and aims to provide an atmoshpere that encourages togetherness. It consists o... More

J+B House

J+B House is an architectural intervention that saw the external restoration of a Victorian terrace with all its filigree and formality coupled with the careful and sensitive insertion of an unapologetically modern form to accommodate a series of interconnected spaces to become a framework for family living. Sara Vita Photography Sara Vita Photography The house was a free-standing 2-storey terrace form, that never received its equivalent terraced neighbours. A complete mismatch in a street of diverse free-standing cottages that stuck out like a sore thumb. It sat forward and was twice the size of its immediate neighbours. It had been stripped of its original detail and charm through a previous conversion into apartments and... More

H3D7

H3D7 Apartment is located on the third floor in a quiet residential area. The floor height of the building is horizontal with the canopy to create a green landscape – like a garden surrounding the living space. Quang Dam Quang Dam Quang Dam The apartment needs to ensure privacy for members while still having a common living space, especially for the youngest member who is in the age of forming his own world right inside the house. This house is both a living place and a space that can focus on the needs of working from home. House Belaku

Belaku, which means "House of Light," is a residential project on the outskirts of Bengaluru. A 2BHK tenant house and a duplex home were requested by our client. The home needed to be well-lit and to have natural light throughout. Both the project's cost and Vaastu Shastra compliance must be acceptable. Studio Recall We began by planning to let in a lot of light by cutting wide openings on the north and east sides. We have a finite amount of "Stack Effect" ventilation openings. We have made the project future-proof by giving 4 feet wide room for lighting and ventilation on the entire north face of the building, keeping in mind the potential tenants on the constrained urban plot. The main door should be on the NE corner, the Master Bed... More

SiriHaus

The area surrounding the Siri Fort in Delhi is steeped in history. Thought to be nearly a thousand years old, the ruins have been only partially excavated, while the rest of the protected area is a forest full of mature trees. The views are serene and splendid for the handful of properties that overlook the verdant fort. Lining the north side is a row of houses that squarely face the ruins. Abhay Khatri The building is nearly half a century old, and multiple owners have renovated the ground floor several times. On the first visit, it was hard to see whether the building had “good bones” - the floor & ceiling were both on multiple levels, there was stuff piled high in every room, and there was evidence of water damage a... Cosmopoly

The Eureka Urban Development is located to the south-west of Castelnau-le-Lez, a municipality of the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole conurbation. The development of the lots, until now composed of abandoned agricultural lands, is an opportunity to redefine the boundary of the Montpellier agglomeration on the agricultural landscape and natural woodlands, including notably the Domaine de Verchant located 300m to the north of the site. The site sits along the Lironde, an intermittent stream of the Lez’ catchment area and its riparian woodland. A re-naturing project of the Lironde aims to recreate ecological corridors to allow free movement of species and reinforce the resilience of the ecosystem impacted by the fr... More

RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX BEREGOVOY

"The theme of water, waves, fluidity and a dialog between two elements – the city and nature – formed the basis of the design concept. Caption Caption This variant became a “wave” – separate sections grouped into a dynamic composition with one dominant tower ending the rhythmic row. The dialog of the city and nature became the basis in the landscape – architectural volumes organize two courtyards with different themes. The space facing the embankment is designed on the basis of smooth, “natural” curves, while the courtyard facing the city is built with the simple ge... More

PS House

PS House densifies the inner block of an already dense San Francisco neighborhood (North Beach), while bringing an unexpected degree of spaciousness, natural light and connection with the outside to a small 1200sf urban house. It is a speculative project aimed at maximizing the potential of an existing dilapidated structure at the rear of the property, which was demolished but whose small footprint could not be expanded. The overall site’s void space is strategized in terms of natural light and ventilation, and includes three spaces: the courtyard separating the new house from the existing Edwardian building fronting on Powell Street; an exterior entrance passageway that connects this courtyard to the street; and an upper level south-...
