In Arujá, a small city in São Paulo’s metropolitan region, a family home built by the client’s grandfather was passed down through generations. Now the property belongs to his grandson, who lives there with his wife and two children. The project is to develop a complex of 48 homes in the town of Sitges, province of Barcelona. It consists of two 4-story buildings and one curious floor combining broken up interior facades and curved exterior façades. They are sea-facing and have privileged views. This residential complex has been designed by the team of architects MSA+A formed by Adolf Martínez / Josep Lluís Sisternas, using the ULMA ventilated facade system with Stoneo panels. The Lace ... 'cubic' on the outside with a fluid inside transposition _ this is how we can define the concept used for the project - Single family home - presented. This home features three main elevations, being locatedon a land with large opening and situated between two other properties as open. So I removed the opaque property boundaries, replacing them with 'curtains' of natural vegetation and encouraging a 'proximity dialogue' between the three properties.
