The Lace ... 'cubic' on the outside with a fluid inside transposition _ this is how we can define the concept used for the project - Single family home - presented. This home features three main elevations, being locatedon a land with large opening and situated between two other properties as open. So I removed the opaque property boundaries, replacing them with 'curtains' of natural vegetation and encouraging a 'proximity dialogue' between the three properties. It is a house which benefits from the relationship with nature, and breathes through large areas of glass on three sides, while ensuring privacy and tranquility for the family.

The building elevations are shaped through playing tvolumetric elements , both horizontally and vertically: withdrawal of volumes, patios, wood pergolas that subtlely replenish the volumes cut, marked by a vertical laminated wood cladding, glass railling supporting the game volumes. 'The Cubic Lace' is enhanced by natural light, but the real 'show', the whole scenery is 'loose' after sunset, due to the elevation's lighting.

The house interior is treated differently from the external volumes , opting for large areas covered with the same finish (wall cladding composed with dressing, storage spaces, closets) wood finish, matt varnished finish and / or glossy leather coverings, wallcoverings, lacquered matt dimensional fixed and mobile panels, etc.. Thus, the trim lined'lace' embraced in an original way the rectangular volumes, emphasizing the straight lines. The interior Lace is also suggested by choosing punctual items with fluid and organic shapes, _ furniture, sanitary ware and lighting.

The 'lace' concept , with its two different expressions for outside and inside the house, has focused on the intrinsic relationship between form, texture and light. And so the 'Lace' has become ... 'home'.
