Old High Mill is a private leisure wing and pool hall extension to an existing home near Bedale that showcases swimming pool glazing in North Yorkshire. The new glazed wing brings together slim sliding openings to the terrace, large-format structural glass walls, a series of frameless rooflights and carefully detailed aluminium windows to create a bright, durable and low-maintenance pool environment finished in RAL 7021. Our next design-build venture with authentic living principles, this custom residence overlooking Ladybird Lake utilizes tricks from local regulatory hurdles to maximize its use and value. The regulations limited the size of the project to a single 550 sf Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), however, by adding a third detached dwelling structure, and creating basements, we are able to create a 1425 sf multi-unit compound.  ​ Underground conditioned spaces allow us to have a detached sound-proof music studio connected to the master suite via private sunken garden patio. In a 202 sq meter property, located in the same area as Mexico City´s WTC, this 5 levels housing development is found. Here CRAFT Arquitectos designed one apartment by floor 150 sq m each, perceived functional and very well lighted.   The challenge was to sort out the narrow plan of the apartments, a 6 by 35 meters gallery. The concept of the project is "The house as a machine for living". Accordingly, transform of five Corbusian points, methods of geometry and proportions have been applied. Located at 6008 Memorial, Houston, Texas. It is the transformation of a 2003 post-modern style residence, into an updated modern/contemporary home. The homeowners did not want to tear it down and start over, so it was up to us to bring it up to date.
