Located in a historic 1908 building in San Francisco’s Chinatown, Pantheon’s office was designed to provide a dynamic environment to accommodate its growing workforce. The two floors include 98 workstations, 9 conference rooms, lounge and dining areas, phone booths, a library and a cafe.   Movement between the two levels is encouraged by having a combination of workstations, communal areas and quiet spaces distributed throughout the office. The large dining area provides a spacious gathering hub where different teams can socialize and interact. For the project of this Startup the challenge was to transfer the structure of the old office of 120sqm to a reduced space, with half the original area, keeping the spaces of games, canopy, warehouse, besides the work benches, without losing comfort and functionality. The solution to this project was to focus all the needs on a large woodworking in natural OSB and leave the rest of the environment free to the workstations. The competition for the design concept of Techno City Yerevan organized by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, required a campus design that would allow for phasal expansion of the campus in different periods of the life of the Techno City. Building upon this concept, we designed a campus that was based on the game of tetris. This concept allows for continuous expansion of the campus by adding more office buildings.
