Bar do Mussum
With the mission of bringing the "paradise" of one of the most charismatic figures of Brazilian culture into the real world, Superlimão was chosen to design the architecture for Bar do Mussum. The bar is located in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro (the birthplace of Antônio Carlos Bernardes Gomes – the famous Mussum), and the whole ambience is reminiscent of the many talents of the multi-faceted artist: comedian, samba singer, musician, singer, composer and Trapalhão.

Located in São Paulo’s Paraíso district, the new McDonald’s restaurant designed by Superlimão explores how a highly standardized commercial program can incorporate lower-carbon construction methods and environmental education within one of the city’s busiest urban corridors.
Developed as part of McDonald’s global “Recipe for the Future” initiative, the 1,187-square-meter building combines mass timber construction, prefabrication, recycled materials, and passive environmental strategies while serving as a public demonstration of sustainable building practices.
