The Lake View House

Located on the shores of the Vinkeveense Plassen near Amsterdam, Lake View House was designed as more than a private residence. The project explores how architecture, interior design and integrated technology can come together to support everyday family life while also serving as a place where clients can experience the studio’s design philosophy in a natural, authentic setting. The architecture responds directly to its surroundings. Towards the street, the house remains deliberately closed, providing privacy and shelter. Towards the lake, expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the living spaces to panoramic water views, creating a seamless relationship between interior and landscape. Troia Light Travertine Rectangular Pedestal Sink

Troia Light Travertine develops its warm cream and amber tonality across millions of years of sedimentary compression, producing a stone dense enough for structural precision yet visibly alive with partially filled natural voids that give the honed surface its defining tactile depth. Cut into a two-piece freestanding pedestal sink—a soft rectangular basin set above a cylindrical column—the geometry is resolved with quiet architectural authority, allowing the stone's inherent tonal variance to read as material fact rather than decoration. At 33.5 inches in overall height, this natural stone pedestal sink occupies a freestanding installation with a visual weight that requires nothing else in the room to complete it.  More

A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE

This project operates on the interplay between matter and perspective. When is something a space between rooms and when is it a room. Is something a floor or a kitchen. Is it inside or outside. A Matter of Perspective transforms a two-level apartment into a narrative about perception of space. Matte glass panels diffusing light and shadows, referencing the steam state of matter, and sliding partitions shifting the occupant’s perspective. Through sightlines and openings in walls the ordinary becomes extraordinary.  Giovanni Nardi The design unfolds as a sequence of shifting perspectives. Matte glass panels diffuse light and shadow throughout the apartment, while carefully positioned openings and sliding partitions continuous... More

Noce Brown Travertine Rectangular Sink with Integrated Drainboard - 36"

Milled from a single monolithic block of premium Turkish Noce Brown Travertine, this 36-inch rectangular vessel sink represents a flawless convergence of raw materiality and geometric discipline. The stone carries a remarkable depth of warm ochre and umber tonalities, which intensify under a expertly honed surface. Processed with a bespoke "partially filled" technique, the finish preserves the authentic organic texture and geological narrative of the travertine while ensuring smooth, daily usability. The basin integrates a precision-sloped fluted drainboard in one continuous plane, completely eliminating joints and reinforcing the immense visual weight that defines large-format natural stone fixtures at this scale. Engineered as a hi... More

Essentia

In the pedestrian heart of Padua, Essentia redefines the concept of a showroom through an intervention that works on spatial continuity and the expressive power of surfaces. The project moves beyond simple commercial display to create a unified organism, where cement resin, stone, and wood become architectural matter that guides the visitor from the public dimension of the ground floor toward the immersive and intimate dimension of the basement. The entrance welcomes the client into a space that becomes an urban scenography. The reception stands out as a monolithic volume in travertine: a tectonic presence that organizes flows and acts as the first material manifesto, directing the gaze toward the hall. Here, the environment is rhythmicall... More

Casa da Ria

The house is called Casa da Ria as it is near the Alvor Estuary, over which it has panoramic and ever changing views due to the varying tides. The plot is extensive and slopes steeply to the north-west, where the wide views open up to the east and south and the light intensifies. Here, the outdoor spaces and shadows become more appealing, to enjoy the delights of a mild climate, all year round. Although the urban regulations for this area allow the construction of 3 floors from ground level up, it was decided to build just 2 floors in order to achieve more horizontality and a smooth connection with the surrounding landscape. In this way, the visual impact is reduced. The house seems to almost disappear to the north-west, from... More
