Kartal Waterfront Landscape Design

Kartal, my friend, was once a song.A song of salt in the air, of children running barefoot over the stones. The Princes’ Islands stood on the horizon like silent poems, and the people — simple, honest —let their worries float in the waterwhile the sun turned the day to gold. Then came the great dream of the city —visions hard as concrete, coastal roads like scars across the heart of the shore, and the song fell silent. The people now stood behind fences of asphalt, and the sea, once their mirror, was now just a picture from old memories. But now,now the human hand holds a different tool —not the jackhammer, but the idea. Not just a plan, but hope. TCA didn’t merely draw.No — they listened to the place,spok... More

Mar Menor House

The plot enjoys a privileged location on the Mar Menor beachfront. The Maritime-Terrestrial Zone line creates a strong and insurmountable diagonal, which provides an excellent opportunity to create oblique lines towards the setting sun. A crisp white volume envelops another gray volume that houses the interior spaces, its function being to regulate and filter sunlight. Joaquín Zamora Joaquín Zamora Joaquín Zamora Joaquín Zamora Joaquín Zamora The strong setting sun requires deep shading, while filtered and variable sky light is brought into the plan by the placement of five skylights on the eastern façade, which can be opened to create natural ventilation through the stack... Ferraro House

Ferraro House is a single-family residence located in a nautical gated community in Tigre, north of Buenos Aires. Boasting exclusive access to the natural canal that borders the site, the house is sited along a north-south axis at the head of a cul-de-sac; this strategic position results in only one neighboring lot, with two of its boundaries directly facing the water. Javier Agustín Rojas Javier Agustín Rojas Javier Agustín Rojas The architectural scheme comprises three stacked and cantilevered concrete volumes, creating a series of semi-covered expansions and terraced gardens. These volumes establish a vertical sequence of spaces—an architectural procession—that ascends from public areas to... More

PHARE YLLIAM

Few programmes offer such strong and evocative poetic substance as a lighthouse. The lighthouse is a place and an object that inspires reverie, the imagination of distant places but also of return, of a landmark, a symbol of safety after stormy voyages. The lighthouse is the very embodiment of what it carries, of why it exists: to carry and bring light. This unitary object is inevitably and closely linked to specific landscape conditions, often very beautiful, since the lighthouse is located at the edge of the landmasses, becoming the last – or first – vertical sign that the maritime traveller will see upon returning from their journey.  Dylan Perrenoud Dylan Perrenoud The context of the Geneva harbour may not off... Acid Ball

In 2015, a call for art proposals was made. A brief detailed task was proposed to repurpose and transform the “Acid Ball” into a public art piece that would become the main focal point of a new park situated at its former site. “Acid Ball” is an industrial 30-foot diameter steel sphere artifact extracted from a former Georgia Pacific factory pulp and paper mill in Bellingham Washington. It bears its name due to its use as a relief system to draw liquid and gas from adjacent digester tanks to maintain a constant pressure while wood chips were being cooked in acid at high temperatures and pressures. At its simplest, Acid Ball is a poignant artwork that celebrates the ball’s inherent form and connects to Bellingham’s mighty industrial past... Esil Riverside

The unique architecture of the residential complex “Esil Riverside” combines the best traditions of New York neo-classicism, elements of art deco and aesthetics of the national culture of Kazakhstan. Ethnic meaning carries a large amount of gold in the decoration of light stone facades, which for centuries has been an allegory of the natural wealth and well-being of the Kazakh people. The mythological winged tulpar crowning the roof of Esil Riverside became the symbol of the residential complex.   The complex includes two residential towers, combined by commercial and public spaces. The design of Esil Riverside used the experience of construction of New York residential buildings, which is to create maximum living space a... More

Riviera Astana

Location: Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan Type: Residential Complex Scale: 236 200 m2 Stage: Concept   Concept: the base of any complex geometry lies in simple forms. The circle has the absolute symmetry in all axis. For the enhancement of stability, we have chosen the unity of 4 circles, which is often used in the design of luxury items and in fine arts.   One of the critical factors for buyers is the building’s stability. Therefore, the project aims to enhance the feel of stability by using the 4-circles composition concept.   Riversides are the most cinematic and attractive areas for living. They attract investment and generally have a higher cost per square meter. For example Governor’s Island in New... More
