Located deep within the dense urban structure of the Jordaan, a former studio has been transformed into a dwelling that deliberately withdraws from the city. Invisible from the street, the house opens entirely toward two enclosed inner gardens. A concealed place, quiet and green, embedded in the heart of Amsterdam. The design originates from a careful reading of the site and its daily use. Creation of an apartment in the rural section of a farmhouse in Praz-Pury The project involves the creation of an apartment in the partially disused rural part of a 1930s farmhouse. Fribourg farmhouses of that era housed both living quarters and farm functions under one roof. The rural section typically consisted of two stables flanking a central passageway — the fourragère — a through-space used for feeding livestock, which also benefited from additional height allowing hay to be stored above the stables. Walking through the historic center of Chihuahua means living with the intense sun of the desert. At the intersection of Avenida Independencia and Calle Victoria, Plaza de Armas is one of the city's most active pedestrian spaces, where thousands of  people cross every day. The former vehicular crossing, now reclaimed for pedestrians, revealed a simple but essential need: a  place to stop beneath the shade. Located on one of the most scenic waterfront lots in Sausalito, Barrel House Tavern occupies 5,000 square feet on Bridgeway Avenue. With 140 seats, the restaurant features an enormous Carrera marble bar, a cozy lounge, wood fired pizza oven, and waterfront seating with breathtaking views of the Bay and San Francisco beyond. Located in a privileged setting on the northern coast of São Paulo, this house enjoys a unique relationship with its surroundings. Its L-shaped layout allows one façade to overlook the sea and the rocky shoreline, while the other faces the beach.
