For Sweco's new office in the Wonderwoods building in the heart of Utrecht, Hal2 designed and realised a 1,300 m² workplace that brings together identity, circularity and spatial clarity. The result is a working environment that supports the way people actually work, moving between focus, collaboration and informal exchange, while making sustainability visible and tangible at every turn. The client, Good Job Games is a mobile game tech company. In their design brief, the team emphasized a need for a vibrant workspace with various casual working spaces. Their existing offices were a merge of two residential low-rise buildings located at the heart of Istanbul, therefore they were not enthusiastic about relocating to a conventional office building. IwamotoScott was commissioned to design this upper level floor in the new Salesforce Towerto to accommodate a venture capital company headquarters, alongside meeting spaces, co-working program, hospitality and multi-use event spaces. Panoramic views overlooking the SF Bay Area in all directions informed the design concepts, and drove the space-making, configuration of programmatic areas, and the selection of finish materials.
