An explosion of colors, combined with a well blended mix of furniture and pieces that recall the 1970s, elevate the look of this 260m² apartment in São Paulo. In cozy textures, white and burgundy - the color of the moment - emphasize that luxury, above all, is comfort. A game that Diego Revollo plays like few others.
The strong burgundy color was the starting point for the creation of this project, because when the client contacted the office, he was determined to have the Home Theater in this shade. So the architect refined the idea, covering the entire room with Shantung Bordeaux fabric, fulfilling the client's wishes and making the room the apartment's main feature, serving as a backdrop to the living room.
Heavy finishes have left the scene to make room for a mix of identities. Different styles are welcome in the new era of real estate. With simplicity, the architect defines what drives his office: "Personalization and fixation on beauty". Here, the light structure resulting from the integration between spaces has brought lightness to what was previously a dark, compartmentalized space. "With abundant lighting and a fluid layout, we chose a rich color palette for a contemporary and chic decor," says Diego.
To complement the burgundy, shades of green and blue were added, such as the curved sofa with green velvet. And to accentuate the brightness of the apartment, the sofa in the living room was made entirely in white, which went perfectly with the burgundy background.
Another distinguishing feature of this project is the mix of natural wood tones, starting with the light Tauarí wood floors, passing through the honey oak wood on the terrace, the Grigio gray wood paneling, and continuing on to a dark Macassar ebony wood on the chest of drawers. /bar in the living room. These wood tones, combined with the neutral tones of the apartment, brought balance and warmth.
The mix of styles is the highlight of the décor: French-style armchairs, a 60s sofa, golden tones bringing back the 70s and contemporary pieces - such as the sofas in the living room and home theater. This mix is also evident in the objects and decorations in the apartment, with textures and finishes that range from traditional to contemporary, using muranos, colored glass, ceramics and different shades of metal, such as brass and silver, generating a fine-tuned mix of styles and times.
