Located in Ataköy, İstanbul, the project on the 8th floor of Marinada Residence –with views of the Marmara Sea and Ataköy Marina– is designed by XYZ Design in 2023. Inspired by the serenity and comfort of modern metropolitan life, the living space is created for a family of three.

In this 240-square-meter dwelling, expansive openings blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. The layout of the living room is designed to embrace the view and integrate seamlessly with it. To enhance this connection, circular forms are used in the sitting area, which interacts most directly with the view. This design language continues in the dining area, promoting spatial continuity. In the kitchen, a central island encourages gatherings, while sliding doors allow the space to be opened up to or closed off from the living room.

A neutral colour palette, natural materials, and warm textures are carried throughout not only in the shared living areas but also in the bedrooms and study. In the master bedroom, the existing dressing room and en-suite bathroom are reinterpreted to reflect the character of the main living space. Meanwhile, the second bedroom and study are conceived as private cocoons, each with its own bathroom.
