Located at an intersection of a residential area, the project is divided into northern and southern sites by a east-west roadway. The bigger southern site has 24 houses and the northern 16. The buildings along the roadway have front yards with garages on the inner street sides while the rest is planned based on an inner street system that the access to the residence is via a central driveway. The outer and inner elevations possess different characters. The street facade is of a playful cubical geometry which creates voids and volumes to respond to the neighboring residential scale while the double-skin designed is applied to the inner street elevation with small punched openings on the outer skin to insure the privacy and at the same time keep in the daylights and airflow. Aside from the terrace on top of the garage, many small balconies and patios are slit into "chasm space" between buildings. These intimate outdoor corners are not just functional spaces, they also invite the nature to be a part of the daily scene of the household.
