Located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, the American Style House is a truly unique concept. The client lived in the United States for a long time, and was inspired by the mix-and-match of architectural and interior design styles of the country. As a result, he wanted the CAS team to capture the classic elegance of the American style in the interior design of his home.

CAS responded by proposing a contextually appropriate American style design that also respects the cultural boundaries of Saudi Arabia. The teal and white color scheme, along with the warm wooden floors capture the indigenous vibe of slice-of-life Americana. Moreover, the living area has been designed in the image of a classic California room that features a tall, rustic fireplace and tall French windows that bring in beautiful views of the outdoors. The ladies reception has been done in classic crème tones with beautiful teal accents for contrast. However, it was the kitchen that become quite a challenge to design. Team CAS successfully responded by retaining the open-kitchen ambiance of the American style by constructing a half-glass wall that visually connects the space without letting any odors out.
