Bona Vista Hills – Sculpturale villa – Aruba

Architecture shaped by terrain
Bona Vista Hills is located in the hills of Oranjestad, Aruba. Built on a steep slope, the villa is designed as a sculptural composition that follows the natural topography. Two horizontal volumes are inserted into the landscape, quiet, refined and perfectly balanced with their surroundings.

The entrance is guided by a pathway through cacti, boulders and native grasses, a soft transition between nature and built form. The home opens outward through large glass façades, placing light and views at the center of the experience. A shallow water feature along the façade reflects sky and landscape, adding depth and serenity.

Lines and contrast
The villa is built from white stucco, in-situ concrete, concrete tiles, and black vertical slats. The palette is bold yet minimal, raw and warm at once. Deep overhangs offer protection from the sun and rain, while the open layout allows for natural airflow and indoor-outdoor connection.
