Vine&dine
The brief was to create a casual dining restaurant + wine bar in a «modernretro» style. Also, client researched the restaurant business by studding and travelling across Europe and Australia. His idea was to find an architect who never designed restaurants before, to create a team of client+architect who are looking on the restaurant design with new fresh ideas. Also, the chief of the CICADA traveled across the World three times to find new flavor combinations, that helped him create multicultural cuisine.
The future Restaurant site and the Architect studio was in different cities, so we worked in close collaboration with the Client via Facebook messenger. All materials / furniture / interior details was agreed by the Internet. Architect visited the building site only twice, - when took measurements and when controlled the drywalls installing.
The pink terrazzo floor with orange/grey/green marble stones across the Restaurant is reflect on cherries / plywood paneling, pink sofas covered with Kvadrat upholstery fabric, cork lightings and chairs in the Bar aria. The entrance area include the partition of cupboards tubes, that divide the entrance hall and the round table dinning aria. The restaurant reception / bar itself/ tables are all created by Olha Havelock Wood, however all chairs we ordered in Arflex / Viccarbe / +Halle / Midj / Hay / Laco.
Cherries paneling / brass gray metal covers the sides of the Bar. Grey colour continues on the front wall surrounded the Bar aria with a Grey marble. The Pilkington glass partitions you might find in the Restaurant and they are divide the toilet and sofa aria in the bar.
Also we ordered fantastic PolsPotten rubber purple palm tree for the Toilet hall, that we put on a table top of an artificial Dutch Orange stone with a toilet sink.
