Within the campus of the Universidad Anáhuac Mayab, the building of biotechnology is a linear, slim, oriented North-South building, to take better lighting and ventilation. The first stage was carried out sheltering laboratories and spaces for companies that rely on research that develops the University.


The composition is achieved with two unique elements, laboratories and workspaces as a central body, and the circulations perimeter allowing connections in the future with other buildings, resulting in a totally cool and ventilated environment.


The Biotechnology Institute continues the same principle of linear buildings of the same University, which seeks to capture the uniform light from the North and cut and protected from the sunlight of South-oriented correctly.


The horizontal circulation perimeter linking different parts of the program and will allow future adjustments and changes in your organization without losing the order raised. The main staircase articulates all levels and is located in the central part of the building.


Laboratories, offices of management and support services such as a cafeteria and meeting as a subdivided Auditorium spaces are located on ground floor. At the first level are the spaces for small businesses and in the final level are located the spaces for larger companies.


The formal language is by means of plates perpendicular to view getting a reading of mass and allowing total ventilation and lighting.


With the inclined walls resolved as a large prefabricated concrete lattice, responds to area offices and support space, and with the projections in the opposite direction and vertical plates to the research area. This double reading clearly defines the architectural program and is a gesture of reception and response to the Campus.


It proposed the use of concrete prefabricated apparent in its entirety, making constructive and architectural unit.
