After an international competition Rolex selects David Chipperfield to design their USA headquarters building in New York. The new 25-storey office will replace the existing building occupied by Rolex since the 1970’s. The design marks the second collaboration between Chipperfield and Rolex after Chipperfield acted as a mentor in the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative in 2016.

The 165,000 square foot (15,000 square meters) building should showcase Rolex’s commitment to quality and precision. Alongside the  office program the building will house a space for brand experiences at the ground floor. The building will be designed in accordance with LEED Platinum.
