Child's beds

Dearkids’ philosophy is to create children’s bedrooms which are highly individual and in which a child can really feel at home. Spaces are warm and bright, and every detail is significant. Here colour is central, its vivacity and the subtle combinations of its many shades exploited to the full in every detail of every single piece of furniture. And all this without sacrificing practicality and quality of materials, for instance solid wood that comes in beech, light oak and chocolate ash finishes. 4001_Boxercollection is a child’s bedroom that is functional and playful, full of spaces that respond to the imagination and the needs of its young occupants. The central element in this bedroom is the bunk bed with a robust 6cm-thick solid wood structure, whose raised side plays both an important protective and a decorative role. So a bunch of primroses blooms in the girl’'D5s bedroom or two sweet dinosaurs gambol in the boy’s room. This side can even be personalised to bear the child’s name to make him or her feel the undisputed “ruler”. Three different heights (120 cm, 144 cm and 160 cm) and two different widths (108 cm and 128 cm) are available. Leading to the bed is a safe and easy-to-use ladder fitted with big drawers and a container with its own little internal steps to make it easy for the child to use this space. To play with friends or to create a secret world, the lower part of the structure may be fitted with a little “sitting room” (with comfortable divans with loose fabric covers). It becomes a study area by adding a desk or it can even take a second bed with a solid wood structure or a sofa-bed that in turn can contain a third bed. These are available with a slatted or an orthopaedic base or painted on both sides. There is also a choice of headboards: a soft outsized cushion, a 12cm-thick upholstered square or an ergonomic, moulded multiplayer panel. All the fabrics used are removable, high quality, antistain and extremely hard wearing. The Boxer collection allows you to choose wardrobes/cupboards from the range of different heights and widths, with sliding or leaf doors, all taking if required deep customisable drawers with handles of different types and lengths to make it easy even for the youngest children to use. All the ensembles come in beech, light oak or chocolate ash and in a painted finish, which uses DEARKIDS’ vast range of paint. This makes it possible to compose infinite colour combinations. And for lovers of all-over colour who know that it is often details that create style, Dearkids also offers internal lacquering for the wardrobes and cupboards. Besides the chests of drawers – with or without wheels – that can be assembled to requirements, the bedside tables and overhead units – with or without push-open doors – Dearkids offers robust book cases of different heights and with three different depths (27 cm, 42 cm and 57 cm) that can be fitted with doors and drawers of various sizes and colours, increasing the uses to which the space can be put in a way that is both playful and bright.
