Agave, the suspension lamp designed by García Cumini for Barovier&Toso, celebrates the beauty and symbolism of the Mediterranean agave, known for its rare and precious flowering. With its modular structure and a distinctive shape, it interprets the elegance of the plant through elongated leaves crafted from sheet glass and adorned with a “rugiada” (dewdrop) texture—an ancient technique that imparts a dynamic and irregular quality. The light passing through the glass creates captivating plays of shadows and reflections, evoking the magic of sunlight filtered through the leaves.
