On a rainy day in September, the raindrops that fell from the sky inspired Nuura’s designer Sofie Refer. She sketched Anoli, a pendant collection that consists of beautiful, stylish droplets. “The natural shape of a drop is recognisable and expresses calmness. These elements are important when designing pendants for larger chandelier formations,” says Sofie Refer.
The Anoli collection is made of materials of the highest quality and crafted by skilled artisans. Its expression is simple and consists of neatly mouth blown drop shaped glass pendants, which are handpainted with a special lustre to give the glass its golden colour. The unique inner part of the pendant, where the light source is placed, is shaped like a drop to emphasise the shape of the mouth blown glass. A fine fabric cable completes the simple expression. An Anoli chandelier formation resembles drops hanging from a leaf in nature.
