New occupancy sensors make Big Ass Light’s long-lasting LED fixtures even more energy efficient. Designed for long-term performance, the fixtures are constructed from a single piece of anodized, extruded aluminum, which acts as a heat sink and helps the fixtures reach a rated life of up to 150,000 hours. The occupancy sensor is a low-profile device that offers 360 degrees of monitoring to automatically turn the light on and off when people enter and leave the space. The turn-off timer can be programmed from floor level using a remote, and the sensor can be adjusted to dim or turn off during daylight hours if natural light is present. The occupancy sensor can reduce energy consumption of the already efficient Big Ass Light LED by an additional 30 to 65 percent.
