bO “FERRARI”
Jorge Ferrari Hardoy was an architect and designer born in Buenos Aires, one of the two Argentinians that form part of the trio of creators of the mythical BKF chair.
He is one of the fathers of the Modern Movement, a combination of trends that would break the architectonic tradition known until then, giving birth to the new modern architecture that would take its first steps in the first decades of the twentieth century.
The Butterfly chair is, therefore, an essential part of this revolutionary design movement. It is the result of thinking, ideas and trend rupture of three of the fathers of the Modern Movement.
