The Black Chair was originally designed for a restaurant commission in Silver Lake. We channeled a New Nordic look and feel for the space, using natural wood tones and whites, and featuring our Hood Pendants. Acoustics were an issue, so we knew we needed an upholstered seat. The Black Chair achieved the simplicity and comfort we were seeking in a dining chair.
